The igloo village of Inuksuk
The village of Inuksuk is made up of 6 igloos which blend into the snowy, icy countryside, 2,000 metres above sea level.
The igloos measure between 2 and 3.5 metres in diameter by 1.5 metres in height and can each accommodate 2 to 4 people. 18 people in total can therefore stay in this unusual little village.
Each igloo is closed by a small wooden door, a canvas sheet covers the ground to ensure proper insulation and thick mattresses ensure maximum nocturnal comfort. The Cosy igloo for 2 people with twin duvets covered with an animal skin drape along with colourful pillow cases and candles ensure a romantic atmosphere. The Ryad igloo is decorated in a highly spiritual manner and can accommodate 2 to 4 people. To always feel warm, three layers of clothing are necessary : a thermal vest + polar sweater + jacket.
A high altitude wooden chalet situated at 150 metres serves as camp base and restaurant for more safety and a real-life Norwegian bath tub heated up to 37° is there to provide you with even more comfort.
