Nice Jazz Festival

For this new edition of the Nice Jazz Festival, the city of Nice has defined an aggressive programming, cosmopolitan and very contemporary, like jazz today .

Like every year, the great event of the cote d'azur,dear to Nice will take place in July, from 16 to 20, the Albert 1st Gardens. Two stages will be set up, the first side of the place Masséna and the second in the théâtre de Verdure. An open room to which no less than 31 artists will make breath and vibration at the Théâtre de Verdure and the Massena scene.

Melody Gardot, American jazz singer, will be the godmother of this edition 2016. It is one of the best known voices of the 21st century, and as such, she is the worthy representative of the international jazz scene and the perfect ambassador of the Nice Jazz Festival 2016.

Large internationally renowned artists will succeed on stage for five exceptional evenings , each with a theme echoing the career of David Bowie : Robert Plant, singer of Led Zeppelin, Massive Attack, Youssou'N'Dour, the duo Brigitte, Scofield, Mehldau Maalouf, Eliane Elias, the Hyphen Hyphen awarded at the Victoires de la Musique in the category "Revelation Scene of the year 2016", and many more ...

Five evenings will each theme the name of a David Bowie song disappeared earlier this year
