More Informations about Le Cannet

This unique museum dedicated to post-impressionist painter, Pierre Bonnard, opened in Le Cannet in the summer this year. The 900m² space, spread over five floors of a Belle Epoque villa and its accompanying contemporary extension, includes a huge entrance area, shop, education room, screen room and terrace, which opens on to the garden. The museum’s inaugural exhibition, “Bonnard and Le Cannet in the light of the Mediterranean” is available to view until 25 September 2011. The exhibition has around forty paintings and twenty works on paper and retraces the work of Bonnard, who spent the last twenty years of his life in Le Cannet.
