Fight against depression with food

The aim is not to camp in front of ourrefrigerator and eat everything that comes to hand, but to eat foods that help fight against depression. When some trace elements and vitamins are in too small amount in the body, it favors depression. The elements are the B vitamins (B1, B2, B3, B5, B6 and B12) that stimulate the brain and the omega-3 which help fighting against depression and cardiovascular events.
We find B vitamins in the liver, pork, poultry, dairy products, fruits and green vegetables.
There are omega-3 in oily fish (salmon, sardines, mackerel), green vegetables and certain vegetable oils (soy in particular).
A lack of iron can also promote depression. Iron is found in red meat, fish, shellfish, pulses, liver, eggs and cocoa.
If the depression persists or worsens, do not hesitate to consult your doctor.
