Get back in your kayak after capsizing

When your kayak capsized, if you're a beginner, you can not go back to the vertical without departing from the kayak. You must remove the spray skirt and get out of the boat.
Stand next to the kayak and put it back on the right side. Tilt it to drain the water.
Put your paddle inside. Position yourself at the back. Lift a leg over the boat while standing at the edge of the cockpit.
Pull with your arms to drag you along the back towards the opening of the kayak. Then raise your torso for balance.
Remove the paddle before dragging your legs inside.
Finally, adjust the skirt.
