Just after Christmas, on December 26th, it’s Boxing Day, the first day of the winter sales. The London sales are known for their quality and the enthusiasm that prevails in the city during this period. The luxury shops are becoming affordable and bargains are everywhere (-50% to -75% in some places)! The London sales last until the end of January.

BUCKINGHAM PALACE

The tour includes a walk along the south garden, which offers a view of the west side of the palace and of its famous lake.
Each year, from early August to late September, the Queen is in Scotland; the nineteen state rooms of the apartments are then open to the public.

PALACE OF WESTMINSTER AND BIG BEN

Westminster Palace or Houses of Parliament has been the seat of the British Parliament since 1547. It houses the House of Lords and the House of Commons of the UK.
The visit of the clock tower is one of the most popular attractions.
The 96 feet high tower displays the Great Clock of Westminster, which includes four quadrants, each measuring 7 m in diameter.
The Great Clock of Westminster contains five bells; the largest weighing 13.5 tons is known as Big Ben.

BBC TELEVISION CENTRE

You may discover the scenes of one of the television studios of the most famous in the world and have a glimpse on the writing, the dressing rooms and the studios. Being a workplace, visiting days are variable.

CHELSEA FOOTBALL CLUB STADIUM

The Chelsea FC Stadium tour provides a unique insight into the den of Stamford Bridge. It takes about 1h and you will visit the locker rooms, the coaches shed, the players' tunnel, and the heart of the stadium. It includes admission to the Chelsea FC interactive museum which traces 103 years of events until the buyback of the club by Roman Abramovich.

CRUISE ON THE THAMES

The passenger ferries departing from Embankment or Westminster pass under the main bridges of the Thames (Tower Bridge, London Bridge ...), lead to the Tower of London, Parliament, and sail along the famous Big Ben clock. In passing, we can see the London Eye, Tate Modern, St. Paul's Cathedral and the Globe Theatre. Cruises on the Thames last between 30 minutes and 60 minutes depending on the distance traveled; departures are every 15/30 minutes.

WALK IN HYDE PARK

Green escape popular with city dwellers, the largest of the London parks of 142 hectares is placed in the heart of the capital, in the district of Westminster and is extended by Kensington Park. It houses nearly 4,000 trees, sometimes century-old , that shade the green lawns. On nice days, we go out in the boat on the lake The Serpentine or you can stroll in the green and white striped deckchairs around Round Pound. To the north, Speaker's Corner is a place of free expression where Londoners like to come to listen or speak, near Queen Elizabeth Gate. Music lovers crowded around the Bandstand, a bandstand which hosts concerts of all kinds. On the south is the memorial in tribute to Princess Diana officially opened by the Queen of England in 2004.

"CHANGING OF THE GUARD" AT BUCKINGHAM PALACE


Attend the changing of the guard of the official residence of the British monarchy (at 11:30am daily from early May to late July, every two days all the rest of the year).
Accompanied by a military band, the guards come to take over at the foot of the Wellington Barracks located 5 minutes from the Palais. The ceremony is held in the front yard of the palace and takes about forty minutes.
