MUSEUM REINA SOFIA

The recent extension of the museum of 269,077 sq. ft (25 000 m2) is signed by Jean Nouvel. The new wing and all the space hosts one of the finest collections of modern and contemporary art including the famous painting of «Guernica» from Picasso.

NB: Free admission every evening between 7 PM and 9 PM, Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning.

THE ROYAL PALACE

Largest royal palace in Europe with over 3,000 rooms, this former official residence of neo-classical style of the kings of Spain reveals a richly rococo decor. It houses a large collection of weapons and armor, the world’s largest collection of Stradivarius as well as carpets, porcelain, furniture and many art works related to Spain’s history.

Note: Every Wednesday the Royal Guard change occurs at 11 AM at the Puarta del Principe.

THE REAL MADRID STADIUM

Den to Iberian football Santiago Bernabeu stadium opens its doors daily to aficionados for a complete tour of the premises and discovery of the history of this centennial club. We take the elevator that offers a panoramic view of the huge stadium and its 80,000 seats, we walk in the aisles between the stands near the touch bench on the lawn and the tour ends in the trophy room.

MUSUEM THE ATLETICO OF MADRID MUSEUM

Madrid’s Club Atlético opened its official museum in Vincente Calderon Stadium. A thousand objects between trophies, jerseys, photos, posters and spike collections, trace the club’s history. The images of the most significant events are broadcasted in the museum’s projection room and the interactive and fun room enables testing our knowledge of the Atlético of Madrid.

RETRO PARK

This green lung of the city offers 120 acres of natural areas interspersed with terraces of shaded water fountains. The central lake is dominated by the Mausoleum of Alfonso XII and Crystal Palace, a beautiful greenhouse, remnant of the colonial exhibition of 1887, which houses many exhibitions.
