THE VATICAN MUSEUMS

PLACES OF INTEREST

THE TREVI FOUNTAIN

Rome's most famous fountain constructed in the mid-17th century measures 20m long and 26m high. The statue of Neptune in the centre is surrounded by four statues which represent the four seasons.

THE PIAZZA VENEZIA AND VITTORIANO


An unmissable site in Rome, it is dominated by the Vittoriano, a monument dedicated to Victor-Emmanuel II. This large crossroads in the city centre connects the Coliseum, Termini station and the Trevi fountain.

THE PINCIO GARDENS

On the side of a small hill and located at the entrance to the Borghese villa, they overlook the piazza del Popolo. Covered with oak trees, parasol pines and palm trees, they offer a bucolic walk and a beautiful view of the city.

THE VIA VENETO

A symbol of the Dolce Vita, this mythical street in Rome is lined with luxury hotels, period cafés and shops. It runs from the piazza Barberini and climbs up to the Aurelian Wall which opens out onto the Borghese villa's park through the Pincian gate.
