Presentation of the port:
Historic Port of Monaco. It was built in a natural bay at the foot of the famous Rock of Monaco. In the 70s, Prince Rainier III decided to undertake a massive project to improve its protection: the construction of a dam of more than 300 meters! It was built in Gibraltar, then towed to Monaco and finally anchored and linked to the port in August 2002. It now allows the reception of very large cruise ships. It also helped to build a new pool in front of the marina, which can accommodate twenty yachts from 35 to 60 meters and two mega-yachts of 100 meters.
Access:
Access easy, port is in deep water. Entry difficult with a strong east wind.
