Ingredients
- 250 g flour type 55
- 20 g Rhum
- 25 g de candied fruit salad.
- 25 g caster sugar
- 2 tablespoon lukewarm milk
- 2 eggs + 1 yellow egg yolk
- 1 tea spoon salt
- 15 g yeast
- 125 g softened butter
- 1 tablespoon orange blossom
- 1 "fève" (figurine)

The milk must be lukewarm.
Take a mixing bowl and make a fountain with the 250g of flour.
Drop down into the hole the 2 eggs, salt, sugar, rhum, orange blossom, the yeast and the lukewarm milk.
Stir vigorously.

Carve the butter and put the parts into the dough.
Knead it until it become homogeneous.

Put a dishcloth over the mixing bowl and let the dough rest for 1 hour.

Then, wrap the dough tightly in plastic wrap and place it into the fridge for 1 hour.


Pull out the dough of the fridge, work it until it become a boul and then flatten it.

Cut the candied fruits and divide then all around the dough.

Roll the dough on itself Enroulez la pâte sur elle même to form a sausage then make a crown by joining the ends.

I's time to hide to hide the "fève" - the figurine !
Let again the dough rest for 1 heure.

Brush the dough with 1 yellow egg yolk and then sprinkle with the crystallized sugar.
Bake it between 20 to 25 minutes at the oven.

Divide the rest of the candied fruits et cool down your beautifull and new King cake !
