Oreillettes (Dessert)




4 People

- 500 g flour
- 50 g sugar
- 50 g butter
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 3 eggs
- 1 lemon zest
- 1 orange zest
- orange blossom
- confectioners' sugar
- oil for frying

Grate the lemon and orange zests.
In a bowl, combine flour with baking powder.
Dig a hole in the center and add the zest, a pinch of salt, 50 g of softened butter, powdered sugar, one large tablespoon of orange blossom and 3 beaten eggs.

Knead it all, almost without water and let stand 2 hours.

Take pieces of dough, spread very thinly with a rolling pin and cut into diamond shapes.

Put enough oil in a frying pan, heat without smoke and cook, a diamond or two at a time, on both sides before draining on paper towels.
