Description
The International Motorbike Federation has chosen Isola 2000 to hold the last part of the Trial 2009 world championships. The resort will also hold the Feminine Trial world championships in parallel.
Program:
Friday 11th September: official training
Saturday 12th September: Opening of the feminine competition
Sunday 13th September:
- 2009 final of the adult category of the world championships
- World championships for the 125 cm3 driven by 16 to 18 year olds
- World championships for the 250 cm3 junior driven by 18 to 23 year olds

Description
Isola 2000 is one of the biggest skiing resorts in the Alpes Maritimes and thanks to its altitude of 2000m it is the station with the highest snowfall.
1h30 drive from Nice, it is an ideal station for tourists as well as local residents.
The station is of 70s design and its centre is concentrated around the French Skiing School (ESF), and an underground shop and restaurant complex.
There are mainly large residences of flats but also neighbourhoods with chalets situated a few hundred meters from the centre.
The advantages for families:
- The biggest skiing domain in the Alpes Maritimes
- A multitude of restaurants a the bottom of the skiing slopes, which is fantastic for those who do not ski and wish to keep an eye on the others from a sunbathed terrace, or for a skiers' well deserved break.
- As of week 52 in 2007 there will be a new kids area at the bottom of the skiing slope with a sledging area, a beginners skiing zone and 2 conveyor belts.
- A hotel with children's club at the bottom of the skiing slopes.
- A nursery and kids club

Description
Enjoy some fresh mountain air on Easter Monday, the 9th April, by coming to Isola for the Easter egg hunt that will be organised there. Children should meet up at about 10am in front of the ESF ski school (we advise calling the tourist office a few days before for the exact information).

Description
Torchlight descent and Father Christmas’ arrival on the snow front on the 24th December at 7pm. A surprise will await all of the children.
To celebrate Christmas, a big free show for children is proposed in the salle polyvalente, at the top of the shopping centre, on the 25th December at 6pm.
To end the year with a bang, a fireworks display will take place following a torchlight descent by the ESF ski school instructors. Mulled wine and hot chocolate will be freely distributed.
