Museum of Photography Andre Villers

Located in the heart of the village, the museum of photography gives visitors the opportunity to rediscover the world from a new perspective through the eyes of a photographer. Devoted to photo and portraits of artists, the museum is composed of old equipment and photographic accessories. One can see in particular the ancestor of the cartoon image of cidoscope.



The museum presents a variety of Picasso's portrait photo taken by great photographers like Robert Doisneau, Edward Quinn, Denise Colomb, and of course Andre Villers who gave his name to the museum. Moreover, Villers is without doubt one of the most recognized photographers in the world. It has extended its expertise in folding, gluing, and frame in the collections of shadows. Similarly, he enrolled in photography called "visual artist" and abstraction. It has among other immortalized Miro, Dali, Chagall, Prévert or Ionesco.



Temporary exhibitions complete the artistic richness of the museum with such exposure "the boundaries of photography" bringing together artists and Ben Villers.
