Near the villa Ephrussi de Rothschild, the villa Kerylos is also called the Swallow of the sea meaning a happy forerunner. Because of their love for the Greek antiquity Théodore Reinach and the architect Emmanuel Pontremoli the villa. From 1902 till 1908 Pontremoli will need six years to build the villa. The building is the reconstruction of houses of antique Greece, more exactly those of island of Délos in IIth avenue J-C, with its wall decorations and its furniture. The Villa Kerylos invites you in a journey in the heart of the Greek antiquity with galleries of statuses reproduced by the eccentrics kept in Rome. Magnificent gardens wait to be visited, offering an impregnable panorama on Saint Jean Cap Ferrat. A library and an audioguide are present to guarantee and explain by comments the wealth of the knowledge which the villa will can you bring.

Adults: 8.5 €

Children from 7 to 17 years old, students 6.3 €

Free entrance for the children under 7 years old



Opening hours

From January 1st to Janvier 4th: from 10am to 6pm

From January 5th to February 8th: During the week from 2pm to 6pm and weekend from 10am to 6pm

From February 9th to November 4th: from 10am to 6pm

From November 5th to December 31rd: During the week from 2pm to 6pm, weekend, holidays and school holidays from 10am to 6pm
