Handiplage Label and Sports for Disabled

In partnership with municipalities, the departments of Var and Alpes Maritimes are involved in the accessibility of structures and sites likely to benefit from the quality label "Tourism and Handicap" that meets the specifications drawn up by associations of disabled people.

As part of the label HANDISPORT access to water sports for disabled people is also encouraged.



ALPES MARITIMES


14 HANDIPLAGE sites in total are proposed in the Alpes Maritimes :

Antibes, Cagnes sur Mer, Cannes, Cap d'Ail, Mandelieu-la-Napoule, Nice, Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, St Laurent du Var, Théoule sur Mer, Villeneuve Loubet and Monaco.

Structures labeled Handisport :
The Moana diving club in Cagnes sur Mer and the Moure Rouge water sports center in Cannes.

Var 18 cities have developed Handiplage sites :

Agay beach in Agay, Casino beach in Bandol, Cabasson beach and Favière beach in Bormes-les-Mimosas, Peno and Pradon beaches in Carqueiranne, large beach in Cavalaire-sur-Mer, Frejus beach in Fréjus, Almanarre beach, Ayguade beach, Bergerie beach and Pesquiers beach in Hyères-les-Palmiers, Gigaro beach in La Croix-Valmer, Argentière beach, Miramar beach and Tamaris beach in La Londe-les-Maures, Sablettes beach in La Seyne-sur-Mer, Grande plage and Saint-Clair beach in Le Lavandou, Oursinières beach in Le Pradet, Pampelonne beach in Ramatuelle, Galiote beach St-Aygulf, Les Lecques beach and Port de la Madrague beach in St-Cyr-sur-Mer, Beau Rivage beach, Péguière beach and Vieillat beach in St-Raphaël, Centre-Ville beach and Nartelle beach in Ste-Maxime, Bonnegrâce beach in Six-Fours-les-Plages, Mourillon beaches in Toulon.
