DESCRIPTION

Le Pradet is located between La Garde and Carqueiranne. Le Pradet is built on a plain whose southern front opens onto the harbor of Toulon on one side and Cape Carqueiranne on the other side.

Located on the French Riviera, this city enjoys a Mediterranean climate (hot dry summers and mild winters), a perfect climate to enjoy this beautiful area.

HISTORY

A very old road between Marseille and Toulon, Hyères and Nice and traces of Villae attest that the Gallo-Romans settled in the place where now stands Le Pradet.

Regarding its modern history, Le Pradet was first attached to La Garde. Le Pradet took its independence in 1894. At that time, it was a hamlet consisted of several houses around a square and many farmland : small fields, hence the name of Le Pradet (which means meadow in Provencal).

By plane: Toulon-Hyeres airport: daily connections from Paris/Orly throughout the year.

By train: Daily services between Paris and Toulon-Hyeres, bus service between Toulon and Le Pradet.

By car: from Nice take the A8 and take exit A57 towards Le Luc/Toulon/Hyères. Then take exit 5-La Bigue towards Le Pradet.

From Marseille, take the motorway A50 in direction of Hyères then follow the D559.
