Man with lavender

The farm-worker comes down from the high plateaux of Provence carrying a sprig of freshly cut lavender. He wears around the neck a brightly coloured scarf and a black hat which protects him from the sun. In his arms, he carries a basket containing lavender flowers, gift to the new-born child.
Dressed clay figure of 18 or 26 cm, with moving members, entirely decorated by hand.
