Inauguration of the 14th departmental park in the Alpes Maritimes

Located on the edge of the future regional park, Préalpes d’Azur, the latest entry to the list of parks in the Alpes Maritimes was inaugurated in August 2011. Its 25 hectares encompass the communes of Roquestéron and Roquestéron-Grasse. The park is partially equipped and is already open to the public. It has two car parks to facilitate access and table and bench units have been installed for picnicking. Future projects for the new Estéron Park include setting up a discovery nature trail or sentier d’interpretation, restoring basins and olive groves and installing water points.
