Presentation of the port:

The port is a former military port historic built in 1550 in the bay of Villefranche-sur-Mer, the only natural harbor in the deep waters of the Mediterranean for centuries. Having become Port Royal in 1713, it added a dry dock for the construction of the galleys still present today, a rope, barracks and a hospital. Registered with the inventory of Historical Monuments since 1990, this port is now a marina. Many restaurants and shops.
