La Seyne-sur-Mer (en occitan provençal La Sanha de Mar selon la norme classique ou La Sagno de Mar selon la norme mistralienne) est une ville du sud de la France, au bord de la Méditerranée. C'est la deuxième ville du Var et le principal faubourg de Toulon. Ses habitants sont appelés les Seynois.

Elle a dû son développement principalement à l'implantation de constructions navales.
